For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

John 1:17

Meet Nan – creator of Haverim.blog

Nancy Montgomery is a writer, former creator, and host of Christian talk radio programs and a pioneer in Christian/Jewish Relations.

Her radio background began as a volunteer with Columbus WCVO’s (Now The River with a music format) sister station WCVZ which aired in Zanesville, Ohio. Nancy began at WCVZ as a host on Prayerline while serving as president of the Zanesville chapter of Women’s Aglow Fellowship. Later she was asked to host Brunch Bunch one morning weekly and encouraged to focus on her love for Israel and Christian and Jewish friendship.

She continued helping the station by creating an early morning program entitled, Moments of Intercession for each day of the week and trained volunteers to come in and pray fifteen minutes on-air for specific needs of the counties under the airwaves. Years later, to help the young St. Gabriel Catholic Radio in Columbus, Ohio, get on the Bishop’s radar, she created a diocesan-based radio program, Yes, Lord, while serving as President of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women.

Founder of Haverim, a nonprofit organization created by a joint effort of Christians & Jews to encourage friendship and understanding between faiths and bless Israel, Nancy worked with Christian and Jewish communities in every major city in Ohio. Her radio program, Haverim, aired on Christian radio stations in those cities; the Haverim radio program later aired in numerous states. Nancy’s guests included Israelis involved in various works, Christians & Jews from all walks of life and pro-Israel ministries.

Nancy is a past member of National Religious Broadcasters and served on leadership teams for Aglow International, Voices United for Israel, Columbus DCCW, and other organizations throughout the years.

Proud to be a breast cancer survivor, having earlier lost their youngest son to a seven-year struggle with a rare form of Melanoma cancer, Nancy resides in Zanesville with her husband, Tom.

Blessed be the Holy One of Israel!
